WTF do you mean "rising" ?!?! Are you implying that it is like the Sun
which will give life and light to the Earth... or is it like a
prehistoric monster rising from the depths of the ocean ?

To answer your question (which has been answered before and is on the
Microsoft web site exam FAQs):
The MCAD *certification* will NOT expire.
Someday they will no longer offer the exams which will allow you to get the
MCAD (or MCSD, MCDBA, etc.), but the certification themselves will not expire.
Still, if you think it will take you a long time to pass the exams, then
take the required exams first. They are always adding new elective exams
which will expire at a later date than the required exams.
Perhaps you are thinking of the new exam series (MCTS, MCPD, etc.) which
will expire after three years.
I still occasionally get jobs based off of my Microsoft Office Specialist -
Access 97 Expert certification from ten years ago, so your MCAD should get
you jobs for quite a while.
Good luck in all your exams.

This is not strictly true. They do expire but the MCAD is not scheduled and
probebly won't be for years to come as it will be relevant for some time.

Exams only expire when no longer relavent. For example Windows 3.1 skills.

Exams can retire, but the MCAD, MCP, and MCSD titles will not expire.
At least, that's my understanding.

So 10 years from now we can still say that we earned an MCAD in circa
2002 technology. And they'll have to hit google to find out what that
means! And nobody will care! They'll have new titles then that will
actually be relevant to their technology.
