can someone explain the basics about the benefits of MCAD?

i know there is some site explaining this with many words, but
really....does someone use it?

what are the benefits and does it useful?

i'm asking if you or someone else actually uses something of these and get
some added value which he couldn't get before.
I saw that the mcp magazine http://www.mcpmag.com/ is open to the public so
there is no registaration required for MCP/MCAD only. (just plain email
validation)

so is there any others non public resources that MCPs actually use?

The MCP members site which allows you access to MCP newsgroups and
well...erm...not much else.

The main benefit of MCAD is the qualification. It tells employers and
clients that you have demonstrated the ability to develop .NET code to solve
problems.
