regsvr32 msxml3.dll issues

I have an ActiveX problem with my IE browser, and the help site gave me a few options to try but the last one is entering 'regsvr32 msxml3.dll' into Run to reset the systems file. But, when I do that, I get the brilliant error message 'The module "msxml3.dll" was loaded but the call to DllRegisterServer failed with error code 0x80070005'

No idea what to do now, so any ideas would be helpful. Thanks in advance (:
