cell phone battery life

HELP! cell phone battery life.

Is there at least one (or more) newer model cellphone(s) that will allow one to:
1.) purchase two batteries (or more)
2.) purchase a desktop charging unit (or more)
Thus allowing one to:
3.) charge one battery while speaking with the other one already in the phone?

Thus solving the problem of cell phone battery running out?

Understand, I barely use my phone, but when I do I need it to work effectively and flawlessly.
