Hi,

I've got a Cisco 3661 that boots over the network. I'd like to have this
local but it only has 16 MB flash, my IOS image is bigger.

Can I use a generic PCMCIA card, will it work?

Regards
Götz

Only if its different than the 3620/3640 which both required linear
FLASH cards, which are pretty rare beasts now-a-days.
MemoryX lists a 32MB flash card as the biggest it carries for $90.
I also had odd booting issues with the external flash cards on 3620/3640.

I'd stick with internal flash DIMMs myself.
