I double check the wireless settings and make sure you don't use WPA
enterprise. If you do have correct settings, are you running manufacturer's
wireless software? or this search result may help.

It seems that you are running a router with WPA2 security and your XP
does not have the WPA2 post SP2 update.

Please start your own topic rather than piggybacking on another --
especially one from over a year ago. It also helps if you mention what
version of Windows, including service pack, you're using.

For XP, and assuming that Windows is managing your wireless connection ...

On the computer that is having the problem, right-click the icon for
your wireless adapter (in Network Connections) and select Properties.

Click on the Wireless Networks tab. Select your network in the list of
Preferred networks and click Properties.

Click on the Authentication tab. Ensure that the box to "Enable IEEE
802.1x authentication for this network" is UNchecked. OK your way out.
