I use JustVoip.com for outgoing calls. I find justVoip to be very
reliable and it has good voice quality.
You will be able to find trillions of references to Tesco Voip if you
go to Google groups and do a search.

However, there are lots of better deals than Tesco.

You won't find many references in this group to Tesco Internet Phone
except those that illustrate how expensive it is in comparison with
lesser-known services that are out there.

I use smslisto.com, one of the many sister company's of justvoip.com
that Brian A mentioned. The parant company is called Betamax beleve it or
not.

Thanks to all who replied, but I was interested to see if anybody used
it and could say about voice quality and reliability and NOT costs.

I currently use voipcheap which works fine but I want a geographic
incoming number which they are unable to supply, but Tesco do. I have
also looked at sipgate but they seem to come in for a lot of stick in
this ng for poor quality and reliability.

There were problems a year or two back with reliability but I've been
using Sipgate since they first started in the UK 4 years ago and quality
has never been an issue, it's always been excellent (at least for me).

The reliability problem was solved when they upgraded their servers a year
or two ago, I've not had a serious problem since then. They're free to
try, you've got nothing to lose by giving them a go.
