I have completely re-installed my notebook after unsolved problem with not be
able to request certificates... After the re-install this is OK now. So in Wireless Networks, I truy to configure one SSID. Whatever I want to change, I get the message "at least one of your changes was not applied successfully to the wireless configuration". The problem seels related to MS KB Article ID : 892087. When I look back the changes have NOT been applied. Tried a second wireless adapter, same behaviour. The XPPRO SP2 client is part of a Windows 2003 SBS domain. Any suggestions? =?Utf-8?B?SXZv?= |

This error message applies when your wireless configuration is "locked" through group policy. The domain administrator entered a group policy (through the SBS domain) that specifically prevents you from configuring a new SSID on your notebook. If you really need that functionality, you should get the administrator to change this lock-down policy. -- Christian Huitema Christian Huitema |

In the domain policy under windows, security there was a "wireless" section.
When I remove that one, the "lock" was gone. Thanks, Ivo "Christian Huitema" wrote: > > "Ivo" <> wrote in message > news:565E1E76-08DD-41E3-B29A-... > >I have completely re-installed my notebook after unsolved problem with not > >be > > able to request certificates...
