Nah. Most people use pirated software because (a) esentially it's free like
any other stolen goods that happen to have dropped off the back of the
truck, and (b) the chances of getting caught are negligible. Nothing to do
with OSS.

That's the universe of possibilities, yes. But no one could possibly know
