File Reading

I've posted this message this morning, it does not show. Is there
anything wrong? My message is:

I've a binary file with format:

a bla bla bla bla
b 23 45 87 39

a bla bla bla bla
b 34 28 98 90

..........

When I find first character of the line is 'a', I want to skip reading
rest of the line and go to next line "b 23 45 87 39". It seems
complicated for me to use std::getline. Is there any suggestion?
