Microblaze in System generator

Hi.

I am failing miserably at simulating a simple microblaze processer in the system generator tool. The system generator user guide only contains some elaborate examples including hardware co-simulation and what not. Could someone supply me with a simple example of a microblaze included in a system generator mdl. file. or any other type of example or walkthrough.
