Default Good network setup for Winxp pro behind broadband router


on XP pro
several computers connected to broadband router

is it a good idea to remove the internet gateway from winxp pro?

Hi
The TCP/IP stack can be set to Auto Obtain or static IP, Whatever comes from
the Router has to be left alone.

Only if you don't want those computers to get to the Internet!
And if you're using DHCP on your broadband router, this can't be done unless
you set statics (out of the DHCP scope range).
