Default laptop can't connect to router

i just got a HP tx2000z laptop with Broadcom 4321AG 802.11a/b/g/draft-n Wi-Fi Adapte, the adapte works fine, but im not able to connect to my router(Westell 327W), when i try to connect to other people's network, it will at least ask WEP key, but for my router, it only tells me that i can't connect(even with full strength). anyone know what is wrong with the router? please help me, thank you
