Word 2003

I am inserting tables into word 2003 to design an email newsletter.

When complete, I can send it as the correct version, however, a number of
recipients have mentioned that is has opened up quite distorted with images
and text all over the place.

The original word version seems to lose it's structure when sent as an email.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
