Dropdown List Selected

Can anyone help me with a problem I am having with a problem I am having, I have a dropdown list on my page along with several panels. I am trying to code the dropdown list event handler so that when one of the items are selected the corresponding panel is called and visible. If haven't had any luck in doing so. If anyone has any advice please let me know. Thanks
