closing the child window and refreshing the parent window

Hi,
I have a html page .. that opens a flash page .. after selecting the data in the flash .. flash is calling a javascript where i am using the document.forms.action and document.forms.submit().now the data comes in Xml format .. where i parse the xml using the file_get_contents.problem is that data comes to php sometimes .. but sometime explicit refresh is required to get the data into php variables.

please suggest
