Your binaries retention may improve (if that is of any interest to you),
but your filtering will suffer, I'm assuming.

We are having a little chat with the SN 'boys'/guys - I don't think
there are any 'gals' - over in supernews.general

Not much difference anymore. I left Giganews because they wouldn't filter the
Dippy spew and stopped doing anything about their own spammers.

If they do I'll be off usenet so fast you won't see anything but a big cloud of
dust. I'd rather do without usenet *entirely* than use those mar00ns as my
service.

There will be a difference when G ends up buying up and killing off the
major feeds, and 99% of what used to be Usenet is GG.

GG which buys up everything and then gives back an inferior newsreader -
with no filters. Ugh to GG.

Why? Supernews was shitamundo with speed slower than **** in a punjab
cowfield.
