As announced over the past year, 22 Microsoft exams are scheduled to retire this month, including the Windows Server 2000 to 2003 upgrade exams, 70-292 and 70-296. Please contact Prometric for remaining test dates and times; there is no guarantee of availability after the scheduled retirement date of March 31, 2008. Kind of leaves the door open, doesn't it? I spoke with Prometric this morning regarding the scheduling of 70-292, and
they said that the retirement date has been extended to May 24, 2008. I am unable to find any information on Microsoft's website regarding this announcement. Has anyone else heard anything about this? I have several exams (re)scheduled in April that were originally slated for retirement on March 31st, including 70-292. I talked to a pleasant Prometric representative on the phone when I was using a second shot offer. She gave me the date of May 24th, 2008 as well for a final test date. I asked if they were going to update the website with this information and I think they are NOT going to. Or (guessing) that they might but be vague and low key about it. I didn't ask why the extension was granted I am just happy that it was done. Louis Friend Louis Friend |
