EJB, Entity, XML, which J2EE pattern?

Hello.
I'm writing business object (JBoss). I have a entity bean.
I have all data in XML: name of the entity bean, name entity field to
modify,
data to set in entity.
That is all data need to modify entity bean.

What is the name of J2EE pattern to do this entity modification?
