migration from PMMAIL2000 to Thunderbird?

Hi to the thunderbird gurus from a newbie

I have email in pmmail2000 (windows, see http://www.pmmail2000.com/). I
would like to switch it to thunderbird, bu I do not see how to get from
"there" to "here". Anyone done this transfer?
