This is probably such an easy problem to resolve but to me it's not.
I bought a 1GB storage memory stick from a well known PC shop to store music for my car sterio which has a USB slot. I filled it up with about 50/60 songs and everything was fine then i went back a few days later to add more tracks to it and i get "disc is write protected" message. I cant even delete anything from it and i have tried formatting it but always getting same message. I thought i was something to do with my laptop but have tried it on my mrs laptop and also my tower downstairs. I know i will eventually go buy another one, not bothered about £8 cost but its the fact that all of a sudden its write protected and i dont know why or how. Any help is gratefully received. If i have posted in the wrong sections on these forums, apologies, i've just signed up. o Gunners o |
