Wireless Networking - Cannot Connect At Cosi Coffee Shop

I have the most recent Thinkpad X61s with Vista Business and I'm unable to
connect to the Internet at my local Cosi Coffee shop most of the time.
Others are connected. The WiFi connects locally, but no internet access.
When it works go to site www.getcosi.com and then have to accept an
agreement, but I've been unable to get to www.getcosi.com I've been able
to use my WiFi at other places, e.g. Starbucks, Barnes and Nobles. Any
ideas? TIA

the next time you are there, get an ipconfig /all when it is in the
failed state

are you using the Intel Proset utility or Windows native functions
to control the wireless? do you have the latest driver for the Intel
wireless? Do you see anything in Event Viewer?

I have Intel Proset installed on the machine but I'm simply using the Vista
Wireless connect. I do have the latest Intel Driver (4965AGN, 11.5.0.36,
11/27/2007). I'm able to connect on ATT WiFi w/o problems.

I do have some errors in the error log....I'll have to check again...Here
are two:

Unable to initialize the security package Kerberos for server side
authentication. The data field contains the error number. HttpEvent 15016

The entire thing is very odd...

MSDTC encountered an error (HR=0x80000171) while attempting to establish a
secure connection with system MEDENGR-11.

do those entries correspond to the times you tried to connect to
this network at Cosi?

You have a lot of "tunnels" listed in your config. what VPN software
is installed ?

I am not using a VPN. Those were the error codes from the event viewer, but
I cannot reproduce the codes. It does say on the Vista Connection screen:

The capability of the network adapter does not match the requirements of
this network.

	Cannot Connect At Cosi Coffee Shop I have the most recent Thinkpad X61s with Vista Business and I'm unable to connect to the Internet at my local Cosi Coffee shop most of the time. Others are connected. The WiFi connects locally, but no internet access. When it works go to site www.getcosi.com and then have to accept an agreement, but I've been unable to get to www.getcosi.com I've been able to use my WiFi at other places, e.g. Starbucks, Barnes and Nobles. I do have the latest Intel Driver (4965AGN, 11.5.0.36, 11/27/2007). I'm able to connect on ATT WiFi w/o problems. I do have some errors in the error log....I'll have to check again...Here are two: Unable to initialize the security package Kerberos for server side authentication. The data field contains the error number. HttpEvent 15016 The entire thing is very odd... MSDTC encountered an error (HR=0x80000171) while attempting to establish a secure connection with system MEDENGR-11. You have a lot of "tunnels" listed in your config. what VPN software is installed ?
