I can't set up hibernation on my laptop after I re-installed windows
xp professional with the cd that cacme with my laptop. The Laptop is
dell latitude 110L. it tells me the file is in use by another process,
so it cannot reserve the hiberfil.sys file.
I really need help, I don't want to re-install windows and I always
hibernate my laptop, it helps me start faster and from where I
stopped.
Please help!!!

Call Dell. First of all, they usually have several drivers that need to
be reinstalled _after_ your OS reinstall, and they need to be done in
particular order. You're not done until all the yellow question marks
in Device Manager have gone away.

Try booting in Safe Mode to do what you want.
