I have a network at my office that I sign on to, it is called "linksys"

The problem is that when I go anywhere else and the wireless connections that are available are called "linksys" it isn't able to connect because of my security settings. The only way it works is if I delete the network and start over.. Any ideas?

That's because all Linksys routers from the factory are called "linksys".
You need to go into the web-based settings and change the Network name or SSID.

Do this..... type this in your web browser: 192.168.1.1
leave the user name blank
the default password : admin

once logged in, go to the Wireless tab and then Basic wireless Settings.
This is where you change the Network Name/SSID.

You really should enable your wireless security. If your devices are capable, you should use WPA-TKIP or better WPA2-AES.

You may also want to enable MAC address filtering.

There are other things you can do, but this is a start....
