Make a playable DVD from an avi file?

I have an avi file (about 700 megs) and would like to make a playable
DVD from this. I want to play it on a standard DVD player. What
application(s) can do this? A menu would be nice, but not required.

to Mpeg 2 files and uses Muxman to
author the project to a DVD.
FAVC also support DVD menu
(simple menu, but it works)

Thanks to all that responded. The installation Video2DVD crashed on
my PC. ConvertXtoDVD works like a charm.
