Can anyone help please?
i have a few year old pye prv 645 dvd recorder which has never been used! My son wants it for his room but i cant find remote control. I bought a universal remote from tesco (uk) but it wont hook up to dvd player. I tried the phillips codes but it didnt work the player. Please somebody help or it will have to be put in bin because when you power up dvd recorder it asks to set time/ok via remotete to complete start up and no other button will ok start up menu. thanks very much for any help. I reckon you are wasting your time with universal ones for DVDs, your best bet is to get a genuine unit.. just like TVs, many a replacement universal types will have basic TV functions but not the tuning etc as they seldom let you get into the menu. A Google for the model number 'may' bring results, the only alternative is to get one from a Pye/Philip's dealer or a remote control specialist davy davy |
