This Computerworld Shark Tank story

obviously dates from a while back, before even PS/2 keyboard and mouse
connectors became commonplace. But was it really possible? Did anyone else
ever have the experience that fiddling the XT/AT compatibility switch on a
client machine could cause a NetWare server to reboot?
