I have two computers I would like to network wirelessly.
I have two Linksys USB Wireless-G Network Adapters, installed, with a wireless network set up in the Linksys software. Now, I'm trying to set up file sharing between the computers and cannot add the other computer in the Network Places. I've got the Windows Firewall shut down on both systems with no third-party firewall. Thanks much. =?Utf-8?B?TWljaGFlbCBBIEdvb2RmZWxsb3c=?= |

Hi
Assuming that your Ad-Hoc connection is actually working it is a mater of setting correctly the File Sharing. Successful Sharing involves some general consideration in Network settings, http://www.ezlan.net/sharing.html As well as specific adjustment of each computer according to what is allowed to be shared. http://support.microsoft.com/default...b;en-us;304040 Jack (MVP-Networking). According to the Network Connections screen on both computers, I have a
wireless (peer-to-peer) network. On both computers, I have the hard drive and the My Documents folder set for sharing. I cannot, however, add the other computer in My Network Places for file sharing. How can I do this?
