I've been asked about web hosting for a small online store. I know nothing
about it so I'm passing on the request here.

Any recommendations for hosting companies who handle credit card
transactions?

How hard is it to set up a site these days? I understand there are templates
available, is much work or skill required to use them?

You may want to find a host that offers OS commerce, which is an open source
shopping cart that can integrate with dps.co.nz. A design company may be
able to help you set this up.
