Hi, with network stuff i'm a total n00b so i need some help/ advise.

In a couple of weeks i get a glasfiber connection with tripple-play (TV,
Telephone and internet) The standard speed for the internet is 10 mbit/sec.
(Is this 10 megabyte / sec or 10 mega bits / sec?) (it can be upgraded to
100 mbit/sec, but for now 10 will do)

What would be wiser:
an UTP connection to the comp (mb = Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe) or wifi?
The wifi connection would be more esthetic, because otherwise i have to put
cable from one side of the room to the other side (including doors 30
meter).
But i'm afraid that due to the wifi i can't get everything of the speed, is
this
true?
What would you recommend?
And if using wifi, what kind of router? And do i need an 54 mb/sec or 108
mb/sec?

Hi

A UTP connection is faster and more stable.

30 meters and few doors can be a challenge to Wireless.

How ever it is so inexpensive that you can try or have both.
