Somehow Windows Media Player has captured a particular shortkey
combination that I have previously used for another program.

The shortkey details do not appear in the Properties dialog box
for either the executive file or the desktop icon.

I've searched the registry for the shortkey but it does not
appear to be stored there.

Any suggestions of how to find or delete the shortkey from WMP ?

If you have the latest drivers from the microsoft website,
you should have a programe located in start> programs> microsoft keyboard.
and then click the microsoft keyboard icon.
and that should give you properties of short cuts for windows media.
