Man Orcon bitstream is abysmally slow tonight. I went to play my game and it
was absolutely unplayable. Ok, I thought, read some webpages. I went to NZ
City and clicked a link and waited...... And waited...... And waited.

It finally loaded and I read it. Clicked another and waited........ And gave
up.

I haven't had a connection this bad since I had a 28kbs modem and lived in
the sticks.

Mine too until around 5 mins ago when the speed suddenly returned to normal.

There was a similar slowdown with Orcon UBS early this morning that came
right around 9:30am.

Yeah, mines come right a couple hours ago as well so I managed to get a bit
of game-play in at the expense of sleep. The finace went to bed disgusted
and cursing the orcon management. I wish she wouldn't practice that voodoo
stuff, it makes me nervous.

How long do we have to put up with this ****?

Cheers,

In case anyone missed one of the threads, all the new threads since
December are below. Quite an impressive list. I was going to go back to
the start of the Orcon news server problems, but thought 2002 was a bit
far to go. So, how many new threads (approximately) were started about
Orcon in recent years...

Threads in 2002 - 40 (From January 2nd when my archives start)
All of 2003 - 15
All of 2004 - 80
So far in 2005 - 32

And the most recent, including most of the UBS issues and ongoing NNTP
issues...
