That would explain it I think... lots of tables with a few images... a
really ugly document.

I was contract admin for a travel co in Auckland, against my advice they
purchased a number of Kyrocera lasers to be placed at each workgroup and
run from a network print spooler over 10 Mb eth.
All the forms and document templates contained tables and other objects
that the river would render to bitmap, every doc blaoted to around 5Mb.
The queues got so large it was a laugh.

I offered a solution, bring in one of my MS Office specialists to re
write the documents or replace the printers with HP which didnt have the
problem.

I laughed all the way to the bank as i took the cut off the top of the
contract fee to redesign all the docs, a cost about 10 times the cost of
throwing the printers and getting new HP. The CEO didnt want to own up
to ignoring advice and making the mistake and the contract was a new
expenditure which didnt have the same level of culpability.
