I've got a GeCube 9600 Pro, which ATI Tray Tools tells me is running
with both the GPU core & DDR memory speed at 400MHz.
I understand the Powercolor EZ 9600 Pro also runs with a 400/400 MHz
combination.
However, I recall reading a review which slated the Powercolor version
for not sticking to the 9600 Pro reference design which is apparently
400MHz for the GPU, but 600MHz for the memory.
I got the impression from the review that only Powercolor were doing
this (although, the EZ 9600 was overclockable, but even overclocked
still wasn't as fast as a standard 9600 Pro).
So, should the GeCube 9600 Pro being running @ 400/600, or do GeCube
also sell a crippled version (which is what I might have)?
Thanks,
D
