It's ironic that people who are too smart to engage in politics
are governed by people who are not as smart.

Why not set yourself an example and **** off?

Be a business analyst? Problem is that you have to wade through hoardes
of loudmouth wannabe's and (worse) the people who think they can code
but actually can't.

Or head off towards infrastructure - no coding there.

Cheers,
Dave

Being the main reason for the "two year experience" thing, although
there are plenty of two-yearers who still can't code.

Ah! Tell them it's refactoring. Very trendy. Extra marks for using the
words "agile development".

At least you're getting a taste of real life

You are. You could sit ten thousand people through the same music
lessons and only get one Mozart (if that). Like music, some people are
just crap at coding, and some are really good. That's how it is.

If I have to do coding, I'll do it. I just don't have to like it,
that's all But thanks for your comment David, I'll have a look into
what a Business Analyst does.

Hehe I used to work (in the infrastructure part) of a now defunct custom
software company that seemed overrun by either BAs or wannabe BAs.

They produced some really shittily designed apps that the infrastructure
people then had to support - arrggh.

There was also a bookshelf full of large books on Object Modelling and OO
analysis etc that were full of academic overly verbose bollox yet managed
to not say much at all.

Cheers
Anton
