Aren't you the local idiot savant who commented that it was
"Yes go read the reviews, not liked at all."

Now you post a link to a review that says
" offers a lot more functionality than previous versions "
" a huge improvement over previous Windows Media Player versions "

??

Increase the meds WOger, you're losing track of your own rants these days.

Hooray!

Media Player 9 on my machine was screwed, in that it locked up
whenever I tried to play video. If I then "end task"ed, it would
completely lock up the machine. I had tried everything to no evail
(there did not appear to be any way to fully reinstall), but finally
WMP10 works.

Oh, and for anyone else thinking about it, WMP10 looks *real* good.

Good heavens. The guy comments that if you have less than 5,000 songs in
your library, don't worry.

But he can't sync his laptop as an external device for music because "I can'
t fit my entire digital mp3 library (3 Maxtor 250 gig drives) on my laptop."
750GB of mp3's ??! hahaha

Not mentioned in the review, and something I have noticed.
v10 picks up a LOT more album art.
This is cool since I have figured out how to grab it and embed it into an
ID3 tag - which mp does not do.
The art will now persist if the files are copied.

cheers
