Do any of you use it?

I've found it makes a real mess of some text in stationeries.

I don't know if this will help, but doing a Google search on this gives some
results:
" xp cleartype bad for stationery"

That combination search gives 48 results, some look like forums about
cleartype.

This link is only good if you use IE as the stationeries are for IE
only.

and the stationeries to look at are Fever and Give him something he
can feel with this one it is the credits at the end on the orange
background.

I've actually asked in the Microsoft private stationery group and only
had 2 replies. Seems either the other posters don't have LCD screens
or they haven't got it turned on.

Maybe I'm not sensitive enough, but the fonts look fine to me. At
lowest contrast they aren't too good, but look Ok at default.

Thank you, it looks like the cleartype needs tuning or something
looking at the link Jax has posted.

yes, and on a CRT no less... it's not meant to make any difference, but
I have proven to a few mates that it does.

Havent noticed anything odd for anything. but I don't **** around with
the PC anywhere near as much as I used to.
