Default Remote device problem?

Thanks in advance.

I need to connect a device that is designed to communicate with a network
via a wire. Because of it's location we need to go wireless. The device
only has an Ethernet connection and not a usb port or slot of any kind. Is
there a device that will acquire an address wirelessly and hand it off to
this device via a cat5 connection?

Again thanks,

Dave H.

Hi

Assuming that you have a Wireless source.

You can get an Access Point that can be configured as a Client.

Example,
http://www.buffalotech.com/products/...0&categoryid=7

Or a Group Bridge Example,
http://www.linksys.com/servlet/Satel...VisitorWrapper

An Access Point is much more flexible in what it can do.

Wireless Modes: http://www.ezlan.net/Wireless_Modes.html
