I changed the power supply on a win2000pro machine
and now it dos'nt auto. power off when shut down.
In the control panel/power options menu there are four
buttons: Power schemes, Advanced, Hibernate and UPS.
I believe I have to enable APM to fix this problem but
there is no APM button showing.
There is no mention of ACPI in the Bios, only power management,
which dos,nt help.
acpi.sys is in the winnt/system32/drivers folder.
How can I enable automatic power off?

Yes. The last bit on the page... " if the computer still doesn't
shutdown correctly, even in safe mode, replace the power
supply"

It is an ATX power supply?

Check power management is enabled in the Bios
