I have a 7410 officejet all in one that has been working perfectly for the
past month. But all of a sudden it stopped printing from my desktop. I indicates something is not connected. I checked everything. It continues to print wireless from my laptop, my fax works, I have been on the phone with the router company and it's fine, I have spent two days with the HP people - no solution has worked. I don't know what to do. It'll work with a USB cord but not wireless anymore. -- sander44 =?Utf-8?B?c2FuZGVyNDQ=?= |

Hi
If it prints OK from one computer, then the printer and the Router should be OK. Assuming that your Network connection is working well when using the Not-Printing computer, then I would try to uninstall the printer software and reinstall it. Otherwise if there is No network connection at all between the Router and the Not-Printing Computer. In General, you can debug the Network Settings of a computer by following these steps. Step One. Check the Network parameters in the Computer's Device Manager. Make sure that the Network Card drivers are installed correctly; i.e. there is No IRQ conflict, and No Ghost installation. http://www.ezlan.net/faq#ghost Step Two Verify Basic network setting in the OS: http://www.ezlan.net/Installing#verify If the above two Steps indicates that every thing looks good but functionally it does not work. Step Three. Check (and repair if necessary) the Socket Layers, Winsock, and or refresh the TCP/IP Stack. http://www.ezlan.net/clean#refreshnet If need to Reinstall; Log to this page it have a lot of links to instructions for Windows Network Installation -http://www.ezlan.net/Installing.html Jack (MVP-Networking).
