I currently have 2 Cisco AP 1130 and Windows Wireless GPO configured.
One AP is on the first floor and the other is on the second floor I have configured securing wireless LANS with PEAP and MSCHAPv2 passwords This technology works great and I followed the documentation to the tee. Currently I do have a problem that I’m not sure how to address. Both APs use the same SSID When a user from the second floor walks downstairs to a conference room with his or her laptop or on the user does not get disconnected and reconnected to the 1st floor AP this is vice versa. If the user is to disconnect and reconnect that works fine. I would like some documentation or direction from anyone who uses a Microsoft solution for their Wireless security and has configured fast roaming or automatic detection and reconnection access in-between 2 APs on different networks. Thank you, John =?Utf-8?B?Sm9obg==?= |
