Default About 70-300...any opinions?

Hi all,
I'm studying for 70-300 exam on this book:Analyzing Requirements and
Defining .NET Solution
Architectures - Exam Cram - Randy Cornish et al.
Well the problem is... that questions are too easy! I mean:after just
one reading I can give about 80% correct responses. Especially the
parts on deployment, logical design, conceptual design seems to me a
"light" version of topics in other exams(70-229,70-315 etc...) which I
already did.
Moreover I found that a lot of questions could be answered only by
careful reading
of the case study, without prior knowledge you might have (almost) .
Am I wrong? What do you think?

Hi,

Yeah what you feel is correct passing 70-300 needs careful understanding of
..Net solution implementation and patience to analyse the question. I found it
very easy to clear (off all the other MCSD papers)

Which exam did you find to be the most difficult of all the MCSD exams?

Cheers
Simon.

Hi,
probably the most difficult was 70-320 because it covers not only web
services but many "unrelated" different topics (COM+,SOAP,Unmanaged
code...).
The 70-315,70-316 was quite easy(maybe there were some difficulties
because I took 70-316 as my first Microsoft exam and I didn't know what
to expect).
The 70-229 was quite hard because it has a lot of material but I think
it was not difficult as the 70-320 because many arguments didn't
required a complete knowledge(for example SQL and logical design was
very easy).
Other opinions?

Hi,

I'm preparing for 70-300 as well, and reading the same book. I too find
that 70-80% of the questions are easily answered, while the others do
require a re-reading of the Case study.

I'm getting the feeling that I'm missing out on something, though !

So, what other books have you used for your preparation ?

Thanks,

Cerebrus.

Hi,
I'm also reading the official Ms book but I didn't find it very
helpful.
Of course, MSDN too.
Hovewer if you and I find 70%-80% of the questions easy I think we
should pass the exams on the first try, at least I hope so.
