The popular FM transmitter for Apple's iPod has hit a snag in the UK. To

As long as the ipod stays on the legal sub 1W transmission ranges (88-89
and 107-108 MHZ IIRC), then it's legal. Those ranges are unlicensed.

Just came back from the Tech Pacific Roadshow (Queen's Wharf) and saw a
Belkin iPaq transmitter there. Very cool stuff.

There's nothing iPod-specific about that one -- it's just got a 3.5mm
steroe plug on a cord. There are also ones designed specifically to fit
on an iPod, using the other sockets (e.g. firewire, or the wired remote)
as additional mounting points.

e.g.
