It is fairly easy to change you email address.
Do that, and do hand it out to anyone you don't trust.

That is how my old email address was set up. I am not allowed to change
my work one where even after filtering 30+ spams a day get through, so I
no longer use it much to everyones annoyance, however they can not force
me to use email

So they force you to use ?
Insist that they install some anti-spam software then.

I've set up an alias with Paradise for use on UseNet and other
situations where spammers harvesting bots may spot it. About December,
or whenever the spam starts to arrive, I'll just delete it and set up a
new one.

Well I am setting up an adddress with something like Qz34rrrxtu55jololo@
etc etc etc so that dictionary searches will not stumble across it.

Pain in the arse to tell people an address like that, but untill someone
sets up a whiteleist base email system it is the next best thing

My brother is averaging 3 porn emails a day and has only written 3
emails (2 to me and 1 to his daughter) since opening his account with
Paradise a couple of weeks back. In fact along with his Welcome to
Paradise email there were 2 Porn Spam emails. Because he needed a
business account address and we have a very common name I'm wondering
if the address he has chosen has been used before and put back into
circulation after a previous user has closed the account.

It's about the only reason for that to happen to him, Kooky. Especially
when his other possible combinations are in use by Paradise customers.
He's still best to get it changed before he gives too many of his contacts
his address, to save hassles if does change it much later on after getting
sick of the spam. It's bad news for him to get spam before even having a
chance to use his new address.

Looking at your address and your reply comment, I think it'll
be earlier than you think!

He probably enjoys reading half of them.
