I have powerdvd v4 and it plays all my dvd's and mpegs fine so far. I
will be getting a few DVD's from europe that are PAL format - will I
be able to play these with my powerdvd v4?

Will I be able to copy the contents of the pal dvd to my h/d? The way
I usualy play dvd's is to copy the video_ts folder to my h/d and then
just play the individual *.vob files in sequence - it plays them as if
they were mpegs and I get better control over the playback.

I have no need to copy DVD's nor create dvd's as the mpeg format suits
me best.

Will the PAL DVD also have *.vob files? Will PowerDVD v4 play them as
if they were mpegs?

If I need special to playback the PAL DVD's, please respond.

you'll have no problems - assuming you use something like dvd43 to get
around the region coding.
anything you can do with ntsc discs you can do with pal on your pc.
