I have a laptop that has a built in intel wireless card. The system is only 2
months old. The connect speed keep fluctuating from 54mbps down to 1mbps and many steps in between. (1,2,5.5,18, etc.) the signal strength is very good to excellent while it is dancing around like this. I have another wireless laptop (pcmcia) that doesn't have the problem. It seems unlikely that it is the wireless router given this. I used Network Stumbler to view the signal info and it looks fine. What can I do to track down the problem? Thanks, T-Man =?Utf-8?B?dC1tYW4=?= |
