Hi,
In my friend's computer links to url's in Outlook as well as in Outlook Express and in Mozilla Thunderbird are blocked. Links are indicated by "blocked::http://....etc.". Does anybody know how to solve this? Thank you in advance, kind regards, Bill newszilla.xs4all.nl |

If you paste one of the blocked links into the browser is it still blocked, if so then it is a setting for the browser, Internet Options for IE>security settings>manage plug-ins, if Firefox that could be the now notorious ad-block add-on, many sites that rely on advertising revenue will not load in FF with the ad-block add-on. ded |

When these types of questions are asked, generally it's kids who are trying to figure out ways to get around these blocks the parents have set. I've never seen such wording so I could only assume parental control. But then, as you are a child yourself, you're ****ed off because you are blocked as well and want to know how to get around it. richard |

Thank you Richard. I appreciate that you answered my question seriously.
By the way, also very alert. It could indeed be that me and my friend are kids, however we are certainly not: we are even two PhD's. The reason for using so called "strange wording" is, that we do'nt have English as native language. Anyway once again thanks and we will check all serious replies on my question!
