Reading large files

Hi everyone!

I am try to read a large text file in vhdl. It is basically a 512X512 array which I have stored in the file. I am unable to read the file and I get the following error message: Error at 1.000950 ms: Textio read:: called on empty string or line.

However, if i modify the file to contain a much smaller array (32X32) then i dont face any problems reading the file. Could anyone please help me with this problem.
