Hello,
I am thinking of getting wireless internet access for home. I have a dell
dimension pc but dont see an option to add a wireless connection in network
connections. I have XP professional.

Any help is appreciated.

Then you need to buy a wireless adapter when you buy your wireless
router.

See this site for networking education. You don't have to buy Linksys of
course, but the site is good for learning about what you need.
