Hi,
I have a network at home that has been configured to allow 2 computers. Most of the time I am not connecting the second computer, which is a work computer. Usually the network works fine. However, sometimes, when only the home computer is connected, I loose the internet connection. I cannot get access to the http://192.168.1.1/Status.htm for the linksys. The only way to get back access to this is to plug in the other machine and start it up. Only then I can access the http://192.168.1.1/Status.htm and eventually restart the dropped connection. The problem is that the second machine is not always available at home. It's my work machine. I must bring it home every day just to solve this dropped internet connection issue. In case I loose the internet access again, without my work machine I cannot get anything done on my home machine. I'd like to be able to restart my internet connection even if I don't have both computers available. How can I achieve this? Thank you in advance, aene aene |
